A website can hold a small system, leave its rules visible and let a visitor touch one part of it. That is where the question behind this place begins: Could it work another way?
An encounter first
In BAŞKA, a fold grows. In TRACE, one point spreads row by row. The invitation is to meet the image before its explanation. First, “What is this?” Then, the rules.
You can simply watch for a while. Then change a value. The shape you were looking at becomes something else. The page has become a surface that answers a choice you made.
There needs to be a notebook
An experiment can leave more questions than its explanation resolves. These notes keep those questions: the names we give patterns, what a model leaves out, what it means to return to the same beginning.
The writing makes room to think around the experiments. It does not construct a personal life story. Details about the making and sources are kept in the colophon.
For a first visit
Choose a world. Leave a mark. Wait. Then return to the beginning and make a different choice.
You might take away a file, or simply a slightly better question.
